1. French English Conflict
When the Dutch declared war against Britain in South Africa, English and French Canadians were divided over Canada's role. Many English-speaking Canadians from Ontario were proud to be a part of the war, which the French speaking Canadian opposed of Canadian involvement in the war. English speaking Canadians were proud to be a part of the war and thought that it was Canada's duty to help the British. The French speaking Canadians did not like the idea of Canada helping in the war because they thought if they did help in this one, they would have to be involved with every other war...
