There were a few people who changed perceptions in this book but I will focus on True Son (Lenni Quis in Indian Language), Cuyloga, and Half Arrow. True Son, an American boy turned Indian, is taken from his tribe to go back to his white family. He highly disagrees with this decision as does his father, Cuyloga, and Half Arrow, a close friend.
