As American citizens, the Japanese living on the pacific coast were put into camps and suffered for unjust reasons. Because of these unjust reasons, those interned believed that this injustice committed upon the Japanese American people should never happen again, to any marginalized group. Because of the congressional testimonies of those interned, President Ronald Reagan signed into law the Civil Liberties Act of 1988, and the United States of American acknowledged what it has done wrong and gave reparations to those who suffered. ...
