As Indigenous People, we believe certain sites are occupied by the spirits of our ancestors, who continue to carry on the daily life as they did when they lived within these sites. Ancestral objects and articles are not "art," but are embodied by the breath of life from the person who utilized the object or article in the performance of a dance or ceremony.
