In a scene where the couple walks through the forest, Fiona kneels down and examines a beautiful bright-yellow flower – a skunk lily. "When I look away I forget what yellow means, but I can look again" (5:22) This scene indicates Fiona's awareness of the memories fading - but she knows that she can "look again" and put bits of what she knows together so that she can remember and hold on to those memories. ...
