1. Descrates's Contributions
In Descartes's theory of animal, he contributed a quote, which is that "animals cannot use language to express themselves" as we do when placing our thoughts on record for the benefit of others, or in other words using language to make known ones thoughts in a meaningful manner (Lavine 118).
