I was interested in reading one of George Orwell's novels because I had read some of writing before. ... The writing was not dry and boring reading, but was clear and to the point to keep the novel flowing. ... The novel covers a period of about 5 years in which I detected some of the foreshadowing present in the novel such as when Winston first met O"Brien, I thought he was a member of the Party by the way he acted kindly in a fake way. ...
