This chapter itself points out many things that many take for granted. In general, I saw many overlaps of being a woman and being a mother in this chapter. Also, I was forced to question my perception of a woman and a mother many times while reading this chapter, leading me to think that the purpose of the book was to generate more awareness of the situation many women were during that time and prompt action....
