There is an overwhelming source of closure seeing how at the beginning of the novel Pip's innocence has him helping out a criminal and by the end, Pip is staying by that same criminals side for his last few moments, purely out of the good of his heart. ... He never got the opportunities he should have just because of his class and the reader can see by this novel that Dickens does not support the way that the Victorian era social system treated the people who were living in that age....
