The Millennium Declaration commits the international community and member states of the U.N. to the achievement of eight major goals. Two of these goals are the eradication of hunger and poverty and the promotion of gender equality and empowerment of women. The third problem I will be discussing is the advancement of democratic governance throughout the world.
