I am actually glad that I was given this assignment because I read a short story of his called " The Oval Portrait," and come to think about it, it was about a man looking at a portrait of a beautiful woman, and he got so into it that he almost thought that she was real. ... So, now that I read that I know that the lady in the portrait was probably his wife, or his cousin, Virginia. And the man looking at the portrait and remembering it was probably actually him. ...
